There are 560 swimming pools in London. Approximately 50% of these are owned by the Boroughs. The rest are split evenly between the education and the commerical sectors.

London Swimming is currently producing a map of all the pools in London. This will be used to increase awareness of the opportunities for swimming across the capital as well as build the need for more pools. The map should be completed by January 2008 and here are some examples.
