To meet the requirements of the UKCC the ASA Awarding Body has developed an approved centre status (2007). This status is required for any training provider wishing to deliver ASA qualifications. The Institute of Swimming, IOS is the training & development arm of the ASA and hold ASA approved centre status. The role of the IOS is to deliver ASA Courses and Training around England.
Although the IOS dose not run any facilities, it is working in partnership with a number of pool operator to develop a network of venues throughout England that can deliver ASA course and training. Download an IOS delivery network map, compatible with Google Earth.
