Trainee Aquatic Assistants Wanted
Are you interested in swimming or fitness? Do you like to meet new people?
Would you find it rewarding to help your community keep fit and healthy?
Are you 18 to 24 and registered with the Job Centre?
Then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for!
The Amateur Swimming Association (the ASA) is the national governing body for Swimming. The ASA is working with local authorities, leisure centres and swimming pools to encourage people back to swimming. You may have heard of the Free Swimming initiative where anyone under 16 or over 60 can swim for free in all participating areas. Swimming is the highest participation sport in the UK but there are many people who still don’t swim even though they might like to. Our Trainee Aquatic Assistants will play a key role in encouraging all ages and abilities of the community to visit their swimming pool and take part in free swimming lessons, aquatic fitness sessions and much more. They will be part of a team helping to improve the experience of customers visiting the pool and ensuring that they make the most of the facilities on offer. For more details click
