The British Swimming Sports Event Commentary and Announcers Course is to be held at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield to coincide with the final day of the British Gas Swimming Championships 2010 (3rd April).
This is an opportunity to spend a half day learning from two of the country’s best commentary and announcing coaches, Rob Notham and Andy Friedlander, followed by an afternoon of world-class racing at the Championships themselves hearing Hugh Porter in action
To apply for a place on The British Swimming Event Commentary and Announcers course simply fill out the application form.
Once you have done that, entry also requires you to prepare a 60 Second clip of yourself commentating on a sporting event of your choice. The best way of ensuring the quality of your well chosen words of wisdom is to play them out loud. That’s right – in front of everyone! It may as
well pass the audience test right here, right now. Then by the end of the session, under the critique of Rob’s expert ear, you will have the confidence and skills you need to move forward.
Record in Mp3 format or burn to recordable CD and send the whole package to us via email or post.
