SWIM CO-ORDINATOR - LONDON
(12 month fixed term contract)
Salary: £13,957 to £15,076 per annum pro rata
(dependent on experience)
Part Time – 30 hours per week (5 hours teaching, 25 hours co-ordinating – To include Mondays and Fridays)
Location- Home/office based
London Swimming in partnership with Total Swimming is delivering a pioneering ‘mobile pools’ programme across the capital and is looking to recruit a Swim Co-ordinator to help to work on the cutting edge Mayoral Pool Programme.
If you have not seen the mobile pools in action then look at some of the press coverage with high profile deployments in Lambeth and Brent.
The successful Swim Co-ordinator should have a level 2 teacher qualification or equivalent and will need an understanding of adhering to health and safety standards and experience of working in diverse communinities. In addition you will need excellent administration skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. You also need to have excellent customer service skills with an ability to manage a varied work programme.
CRB checks will be taken up as part of the employment as this role involves significant access to children. The project will follow guidelines set down in the ASA’s Child Protection Policy.
