Congratulations to the London Region swimmers who competed in the UK School Games 4/5^th September 09. Eight teams from England North, England Central, England South, England East, Wales, Ireland, Scotland N & W and Scotland S & E, competed in the 50m University Pool in Swansea.   Having survived an incredibly wet Welsh Opening Ceremony in the Roald Dahl Plaza in Cardiff, the swimmers had to travel the next morning to Swansea to train and compete.

 

London Region swimmers :Stephanie King, Stephanie Denny, Oliver Keegan, Michael Gunning and Christopher Inch all represented England East and Jessica Harper, Leonie Buck and Felix Samuels represented England South.

 

There were some excellent swims including Felix Samuels’ Gold in 100m F/s in 53.12 and Bronze in 50m F/s and Silver as anchor leg in 4 x 100m F/s Team
