Jo Jackson & Dave McNulty deliver Master Class Success

This weekend saw the second Master class delivered at the Queen Mothers Sports Centre, by Olympic Bronze medallist, Jo Jackson & Olympic Coach, Dave McNulty.  The main focus of the 90 minute master class was to focus on Freestyle Technique and Starts & Turns, which was a great success and all those who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

There were sessions available to suit all abilities and levels, of which all had the opportunity to swim with Jo and gain some good tips and technical feedback.

' My expectations were to get some good tips and advice that I didn't already know from an Olympian'

During the session the Swimmers went through drills for Freestyle technique, had a go at the different types of start and refined their turning technique.  They also did a timed 50 metre sprint at the end, with some select few being brave enough to take on our Olympic medallist.  The sesison was finished with a Q & A session with Jo & Dave, followed by Jo signing autograph's on their London Swimming swim hats & postcards.

' I really enjoyed meeting and having the chance to race against Jo, as well as getting some quality coaching from Dave McNulty'

Following the success of the recent Master Classes London Swimming will be looking to repeat and develop this programme for 2009
