For the last two years Norwich Union have put finances towards a Community Sports Fund, for sporting initiatives that are inclusive to disabled people. Initiatives are promoted and the public votes for the programme they would like the Fund to support.

There are three categories; Gold, Silver and Bronze each receiving different funding amounts.

London Swimming put forward initiatives led by Michelle Weltman the London Swimming Disability Squad Coach. Such as further developing her work with the London Squad and ideas around recruiting new disabled swimmers using Aquatic Festivals. 

We are delighted to announce that the public voted for London Swimming and that we have been given a bronze award of £1000 to develop disability swimming.
