Swimming in Greenwich - Position Statement 3

Four large consultation meetings have now been held in Greenwich in key areas:

    Arches

    Eltham

    Thamesmere

    Waterfront

 There was a huge turn out for the consultations, with two having more than a hundred attendees.

A small working group has been established; representatives from all the clubs have been invited.  London Swimming, GLL and Greenwich Council also have represenation on the group. 

The working group all share similar concerns, which are around finance and pool programming.  These concerns are now being worked through.

A sub-group of the working group has been set-up to look at pool programming across the four centres.  The sub-group is due to feedback to the working group in mid June.
