The ASA is very keen to capture information around club capacity via its on-line club questionnaire.

Colin Brown (RD): This week has been rather short due to annual leave. The highlight has been looking at establishing a potential Diving programme at Putney Leisure Centre.

Colin will also be presenting to Aquaterra Trust management on the view from outside an operator. On Saturday 5 April is World Swim Against Malaria Day http://www.worldswimagainstmalaria.com/
 
This week Mark Griggs (EDO) meet with a number of GLL centres in order to set up courses and cpds in their centres. Mark also attended the pro active east workforce development meeting, where he was told that skills active are looking to extend the bursary scheme until the budget has been spent.

This week Janna Callan (RDO) has met with Hackney council to discuss their swimming strategy moving forward and arranged Swim21 assessments with Havering Cormorants Diving, Erith and District Swimming and Synchro Club. Next week Janna will be spending time in Greenwich to develop the swimming pathway for the borough
 
Next week Cathy Carr (RDO) will be on annual leave at the beginning of the week. She will be attending the team meeting and attending the North London Leadership session at Middlesex University. Cathy will be also attending a meeting with Waltham Forest and meeting Janna Callan with regards to Swim 21.
 
Masters - Help is needed in marshalling the warm-up sessions at the British Masters Championships being held at the Manchester Aquatic Centre on Friday/Saturday/Sunday 20/21/22 June. If you are interested and available to get involved please contact Andy Wilson - andy.wilson@swimming.org. This week’s focus for Ben Campion (RDO) has been Mini Polo delivery in the West of London. This has mainly involved setting priorities for work programmes and liaising with some of the initial venues. Nik our new coach has spent Friday evening looking at mini-polo session in Hillingdon. London Swimming would like to welcome Nik to the team. On Friday Ben spent time at the London Region National Governing Body meeting. The Youth Sports Trust, GLA and the LDA gave interesting presentations. The GLA's focus being very much around the London 2012 Olympic games.
 
This week Jo Calvino (RDDO, had a very positive meeting at Putney Leisure Centre regarding establishing a diving programme at the venue. .
Jo has been working on Waltham Forests S21 file for assessment and attended their AGM on Thursday evening.
 
Annabel Kehoe (EDS - Islington) returned from annual leave to enjoy a very productive week. She met with Helen James from Islington Children's Centre to view the newly built hydrotherapy pool within the Richard Cloudsley School. Both Helen and Annabel are terribly excited at opportunity of this new pool. Annabel also met with Kate Sargant, ASA Health Activities Manager, to discuss the future of the Everyday Swim project in Islington. The week was concluded by attending the London Swimming themed day which was presented by Mark Griggs.
 
Next week Annabel will be attending several key meetings with Aquaterra Leisure management and ensuring that everything is prepared for the ASA/UKCC Level 2 Teaching Aquatics course that is being held at Ironmonger Row Baths beginning on the 5th April.
