London Swimming has an in-principle confirmation for £170,000 of Sport England funding to deliver Water Polo programs across London. The project focus will be capacity building, coach education and school club links and for the initial year will focus on the West of London.

Ben Campion, London Region RDO said,

'The Sport England funding is the biggest single allocation of funding to Water Polo outside of the Elite program, and shows a real commitment to grass roots development as we move towards the Olympics.' 

Developed by London Swimming and the Water Polo committee, the success of the project bid is due to the committment and vision of both the volunteers and professionals from London Swimming.
